Crookham Village Association
The CVA and village events are run by volunteer residents, mainly from the 'old village', to help make the most of village life and our environment. Everyone with an interest is welcome.
We are independent, but support local interests and several other organisations and charities, including the Crookham Village Twinning Committee and Basingstoke Canal Society.
Village Events
Many residents enjoy getting involved in one or other local events, which help get in the mood for the time of year, meet new friends and often a fun way to raise funds. Here are a few examples:
| Year round | Village guided walks |
| May/June | Twinning with Lévignen |
| July | Summer Fete with ZCRA |
| August | Summer Barbecue social |
| Autumn | Fund raiser event |
| Pre Christmas | Village Carol singing |
| Pantomime | Free for Children |
| Boxing Day | Mummers Plays |
Keeping you informed
We also aim to produce our Villager Newsletter twice a year, particularly to publicise summer and festive season events. This is delivered by volunteers to around 300 local houses, mainly in the old village. For contacts, latest events and dates, please download the Villager Newsletter:
