Zebon Copse Centre (formerly known as Velmead Community Centre), together with adjacent play areas and sports pitches, is located at the far end of Danvers Drive on Zebon Copse Estate in Church Crookham and serves the parish of Crookham Village and adjacent areas. The Centre was refurbished and extended during 2009. A pictorial diary of the works is HERE. As from 1 April 2010, the Centre has been administered by Crookham Village Parish Council. Formal transfer of the facilities to CVPC was finally completed on 4 June 2010 after delay to complete repairs following ingress of water caused by theft of lead from the roof in late March. All matters related to the Centre, including the sports pitches and play areas, should therefore now be referred to CVPC, not Hart District Council. Contract zccbookings@crookhamvillage-pc.org.uk or 01252-615003 for all enquries or bookings. The ZCC office is only manned part-time, but all messages will be answered at the earliest opportunity. |
